ALC: management and AI in translation companies

From May 1 to May 4, Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, will be the setting for another Association of Language Companies (ALC) annual conference. For four days, the association founded in that North American country will discuss the challenges that companies providing translation, interpreting, localization and language services, as well as academic institutions that are teaching our future linguists, are facing.

The ALC keeps the goal stated in 2004 at its founding: to look both inside and outside the industry for every opportunity to make it grow. That's why the Association of Language Companies has opened the door, from day one, to members and non-members within the translation industry, but also to government agencies and companies providing tools and services to the language services industry. 

In an extensive four-day program involving 26 speakers, the American association will take the opportunity provided by a meeting held in the U.S. federal capital to not only exchange experiences and views about translation companies, but also meet with congressmen and members of other U.S. government associations.

The event, which will take place from the 1st to the 4th of May, will address a remarkable diversity of issues, from language service companies management to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence, especially in the sales sector, and also the importance of an effective policy of partnerships between LSP.  This is also our mindset that's why we developed the vendor friendly partnership program for translation companies.
