To raise the profile of interpreting, Barry Olsen, co-President (with Katharine Allen) of [InterpretAmerica](https://cultureandlanguage.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=89d7c660f5ebd9cf99a255137&id=0b261aaa78&e=d2837f7617) and Co-President of InterpretAmerica, LLC, produced a video on WIRED about conference interpreting. The video was launched on June 24, 2019 and has gone viral with more than 50,000 views in just two hours.
